Last week I taught my first of 6 workshops for Sign and Digital in Dublin. Sign and Digital is a great distributor in Ireland who really goes out of there way to provide the best tools/materials as well as educating their customers on how to use them. The class had 15 students who worked with 3M IJ180 print film as well as 1080 paintwrap film. The next workshop in Belfast on June 1 is sold out but new classes have been added to meet the demand, including 2 Advanced courses. To sign up for the workshop go to: http://www.signanddigital.com/. A special thanks to Leo Maher and everyone at Sign and Digital for making this first one go super smooth.

The latest round of the Avery Mutoh School of Wrap Workshops finished up last week. The sold out workshops went extremely well with all the attendees getting down and dirty with the Avery 1005 Easy Apply RS and Supreme Wrapping Film. The next round is coming up in June. LA is sold out and Toronto has 2 spots left so if you're interested in that one be sure to sign up. Also, the workshop in Houston has been changed to Sign Warehouse in Denison, TX. Special thanks to everyone at Wynit and Denco for hosting the events (and the donuts) and Linda from Avery for all her help as usual.

Today I taught a basic workshop at Squeezy in the Netherlands which is sponsored by 3M. There were 10 students who attended. Ruben van Raam talked about the films and manufacturing process for the first 2 hours then Herman and I took over to demonstrate the basics. An all-around good day with very eager students. Squeezy is now doing trainings at 3M Belgium and at their new location in Breda. I am happy to say I will be teaching a few of them so if you happen to be in Belgium or the Netherlands check the schedule.

I got back from the ISA show on Sunday after doing 4 demos a day for Avery Dennison in their booth. The attendance of the show was really good and the enthusiasm of people watching the demos was great. I wrapped two cars for Avery Dennison - one with a plaid print using their 1005 Easy Apply RS and the other car with different colors and finishes of the Avery Supreme Wrapping Film. Also, for both vehicles I added chrome highlights with Avery's new Conform Chrome. This Conform Chrome I added to the door handles, side molding and made accents on the hood. Cool stuff. A lot of people asked about the Avery Mutoh School of Wrap workshops. They are all almost sold out so if you're interested be sure to sign up. They definitely have a buzz like I've never seen.

This video was made while I was doing demos last week at the ISA show in Orlando. I am applying Avery's new Conform Chrome which will be available in mid-April 2012 for purchase. Conform Chrome is for accent pieces on vehicles like door handles, mirrors and striping. I'm applying a large piece to a fender to demonstrate how flexible and easy to work with Conform Chrome is. Please note that applying large sections of chrome onto a vehicle is illegal in most states so be sure to check with local regulations.
