Pearl White the New Matte Black
Before heading out to the U.S. to teach the latest round of the Avery/Mutoh School of Wrap workshops and to do demos at SEMA in Vegas I wrapped this car in Avery Supreme Wrapping Film - white pearlescent. Such a beautiful color and it seems to be the new "hot" color in the Netherlands. Perhaps it will become the new matte black in terms of popularity. We shall see.
Hup Holland Hup
World Cup fever here is reaching its peak with the Dutch playing in the finals Sunday. Today I wrapped a Mini Cooper in the Dutch colors using Avery 900. I wrapped the Mini Cooper for a client of Squeezy, the premiere installation company in the Netherlands. The client actually wants to keep the wrap on for a year so, win or lose, the guy is riding in style for quite awhile.
Mastercraft Wrap
I just got done wrapping a beautiful Mastercraft boat for Abel Vegter, owner of Streetsurfing here in the Netherlands. The wrap came as an extra option when he purchased the boat. It was designed and printed by System Inc. for Mastercraft. The film used was 3M IJ180. Its funny how with boats, the wrapping time doesn't take very long. The big chunk of time comes in the prep - applying Primer 94 and cleaning then in the finishing - post heating and using 3M edge sealer. This boat was Abel's life long dream (a Dutch wake boarding champion) so it was a particular pleasure to wrap.
